Child's Rocking Horse

The thickness of the horse body, head  and  legs are 2 1/2 inches thick.
Rocking horse body, legs, and head was made from Primavera wood.  
The stirrups are made from Mahogany wood.  Ramin dowel rods were used for
the foot rest and hand hold.  The seat was made from Walnut with two pin
stripes of inlayed Mahogany running the length of the seat


.There is a 3/4 inch thickness of Mahogany and Walnut running the center of the body to give the
underbelly of the horse some color.   And all the bridles were inlayed using Ebony wood.
The rockers were made from Yellow Pine and the running boards are Popular.
The main and tail was created using 3 ply rug yarn.  This is the natural color of all
the woods.  The finish placed on the horse was General Finish Satin Armor Seal.
